Closure to Leadership Plenty Phase, Start of Visioning

The training date will be Thursday, April 9th in Room 255 of the Spokane South Campus Complex (the Bookie building) where we held one of the Study Circle Facilitator trainings. Lets try to get as many members of our Horizons Leadership Team as possible to attend, but a team of 2 to 4 will work as well. We are hoping to have our class from appoximately, 6:00 and 8:15pm. We will walk through the LP action planning process and begin to conceptualize the Visioning process. Food will be provided, along with barrier reduction assistance. Our Horizons team has already developed the general framework and forms, but we'll need help with your community survey, timeframes, outreach efforts, etc. So....please begin to check community calendars for possible Horizons outreach dates or ways to engage residents with a survey and students with classroom activities (in May and June) and begin to identify 2 evenings to conduct the strategic planning process in mid to late June. We really need to have our work done before July 4th or we'll loose valuable folks from participating.
