STUDY CIRCLES COMPLETED
Kudos to everyone who took part in the study circles for our community! It has been so exciting to see people come together and discuss all of the aspects of poverty and think about what we might be able to do to make our part of the world a better place. Everybody did an awesome job. The action ideas are very good and very workable. Best of all, this past five weeks has started people to think about other people.
I would like to thank everyone who has taken part in this phase of the Horizons Project. Each one of you has brought something special to these discussions and it is a deeply satisfying feeling to look back and see what you have accomplished.
Now on to the action forum! Please mark your calendars for December 16th. The doors open at 5:00pm and dinner will start at 6:00. Keep in mind that dinner will be buffet style and available until 8:00. I certainly hope you all can be there. Babysitting will be available as well as gas cards for those who have to drive any distance.

ACTION FORUM
December 16 is the date for the action forum. The event will be at the Methodist Church starting at 5:00pm until 8:00pm. We will be hosting a buffet style dinner at no charge to all who would like to attend. Dinner will start at 6:00 and be available until 8:00. This will be a very informative meeting and a great opportunity for everyone to learn about the Horizons Project and what we are doing here in our community.
So please mark this on your calendar and ask all your friends and neighbors to come enjoy a good dinner, visit with old friends, and hear what this is all about.

Study Groups
Today we finished up the third week of the study group sessions. We have been looking at the poverty issues and how they affect us. In the next two weeks we are going to talk about ways to reduce poverty in our area and discuss ideas we will take to the action forum in December. The leadership team will be setting the date for the action forum at the next leadership team meeting, November 18 at 6:00 pm.
We have a great group of poeple coming to the study circles. Everyone is sharing good thoughts, ideas and observations.
Our study group facilitators are working hard to make these sessions productive and move us toward our ultimate goal of reducing poverty in our community.
The leadship team has chosen Brady Kiesz, Amanda Rich and Paul Nesbitt to attend the leadership training. Rita Crowl and Virginia Widman will be going to the communications and PR training. Jaci Doneen and Samantha Wilson will also be attending if there is space available.

Community Coaches Comments on Study Circles
Having the occasion to attend several Study Circles in Rosalia, I'm very impressed at how many people are concerned about the vitality of the community. Study Circle participants are identifying a wide range of creative ways to reduce poverty. The process is working! Patrick Malone
